GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE

This is such a common American dish, you all probably all make it from memory, but here it is for our overseas friends. I like the bacon added too.

1 large can french style green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled
1 small can of Durkee French fried onions

Drain green beans and combine well with mushroom soup and half of the Durkee onions. Spread in the bottom of a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Place in a preheated 325 degree oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle bacon and rest of onions on top of casserole and return to the oven for 10 more minutes. Serve hot.

Of course with our gang we must double or triple this recipe!
